You are the boots on the ground who engages with the community and builds connections with our communities so others see Compass Rose as a quality school choice for children.
You play a key part in ensuring campuses are100% enrolled.
You do this by utilizing data to design student recruitment strategies, foster local interest, and nurture families to submit applications.
Additionally, you ensure that we maximize the conversions of new enrollment applications by managing the Network's school enrollment platform, and working closely to connect new families to each school throughout the enrollment and registration process.
Your Responsibilities New Student Recruitment and Applicant Engagement Execute in-person home visits, block walking, host tables outside stores, and make cold phone calls to families Confidently speak about the Compass Rose Public Schools program model and attend in-classroom observations to effectively speak to families on our program Nurture a positive working relationship with local community partners to sustain and expand upon new student recruitment partnerships Plan and participate in school-led events to generate applications Execute student recruitment strategies specifically targeting but not limited to, Kinder students within a 5-mile radius of the campus since that cohort is new every year Execute student recruitment strategies established by the Director of Student Recruitment that target families with school-aged children within a predetermined radius of the campus Execute student enrollment strategies established by the Lead Enrollment Liasion and Campus Operations Leader as predetermined by ongoing communication and campus partnerships.
Participate in off-site presentations to daycares, housing authorities, community centers, and other community organizations within a 5-mile radius of the campus Attend community events and informational fairs in partnership with the network student recruitment team to inform families and promote brand awareness of Compass Rose Public schools.
Work in partnership with the school to plan and coordinate campus tours Track applications, communication to applicants, and conversions to enrollment Monitor quality and completion of applications submitted and resolve issues in a timely manner Collaborate with other campus staff on recruitment and engagement events to greet and nurture relationships with new families.
Cultivate and engage a solid waitlist after the lottery by providing communication and sustained recruitment efforts Family Communication You are accountable for delivering a superior customer experience by communicating the value, features, and benefits of a Compass Rose Public School Respond to new, prospective, and returning families on all social media platforms Is able to answer general new family inquiries that come into a general email address Support interested families via inbound calls in a phone queue setting to assist families through the enrollment process Support current families via inbound calls in a phone queue setting to assist families by fielding questions, concerns, and connecting families with campus staff for ongoing support accordingly Make outbound calls to families interested in enrolling to Compass Rose Public Schools Remain up to date with changes in enrollment policies, and guidelines and can communicate to families Remain up to date with assigned campus systems and procedures, highlights, and details helpful to share while connecting with new or returning families Remain up to date with overall systems as it pertains to student persistence and returning family recommitment/re-enrollment In partnership with the Director of Student Recruitment, create all communication journeys connected to the conversion process for all new families Takes the charge on all communication that encourages the conversion of applicants from offer status to registration in progress status Student Enrollment You support and attend recruitment initiatives and events based on priority areas of need You drive satisfaction and expedite enrollment by providing:
Constant lead follow-up and family nurturing Outreach and technical support to families during the enrollment and re-enrollment process A single-point-of-contact for families who have submitted an application Compass Rose Public Schools Connection between families and schools as it pertains to the new family and returning family experience First point of contact should a family express a desire to withdraw from Compass Rose Public Schools Serve as the enrollment subject matter expert to families during the enrollment process You are the liaison between schools and enrollment to resolve issues that may impede registration and enrollment Comply with and maintain all federal, state, and network student registration requirements throughout the enrollment process Partner with campus leaders to drive accountability for campus operations teams around recruiting new families with specific applicant goals per grade level Maintain consistent tracking of applications, enrollment, and registrations to inform strategy on conversions Ensure application-to-enrollment conversion ratios are determined and met Be data-informed in 1:
1 check-ins with the manager, team meetings, and strategy meetings to stay on track to meet recruitment and enrollment goals Review and update data as it pertains to student persistence Review and update data as it pertains to student recommitment Create engagement plans to leverage Network Staff, Campus Staff, and Parent Volunteers to take on enrollment and recommitment events throughout the school year Proficient with Ascender Online Registration portal to support families in the process or new registration and re-enrollment.
Your supervisory responsibilities None You have a High School Diploma or equivalent experience in any of the following areas:
marketing, customer service, sales,education, or specific recruitment work for schools/organizations have strong written and verbal communication skills; preferably bilingual are willing to work a flexible schedule such as late hours, weekends, hours over typical school calendar breaks for events, etc are able to work outdoors for extended periods of time are able to work in an environment where you travel throughout a neighborhood, park, large area event, etc Compensation and Benefits Compensation ranging from $50,000-60,000 based on relevant experience Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and supplementary coverage with multiple plan options Employer-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Employer-paid Long-term Disability and Life Insurance Paid local personal days, paid bereavement leave, and paid parental leave Participation in Texas Teacher Retirement System (TRS).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
