Range of Responsibility:
Work with commercial loan officers processing loan applications through closing.
Perform all duties in conformity with applicable regulations and bank policies.
Work under limited supervision with moderate latitude for independent judgement.
Essential Functions:
Provide administrative support by arranging appointment schedule; assisting with loan applications; obtaining credit reports; typing personal and commercial loan documents; closing loans with the customer; filing for recordation title and UCC liens; providing completed documentation to loan administration department and assist with RE modification worksheets.
Prepare application loan packets for commercial loans.
Assist with collection of financial statements, income tax returns, insurance, rent rolls, lease agreements.
Order all paperwork related to each specific real estate loan, i.
e.
, appraisals, surveys, title policies, legal documents, etc.
Correspond with title companies, surveyors, appraisers, borrowers, realtors, attorneys, etc.
relating to the real estate loan being processed.
Coordinate closings with the borrower, loan officer, seller, and title company.
Work with the loan department to ensure that all required documentation is in place prior to a closing.
Work with Loan Officers/Real Estate loan operations with any real estate work they are performing.
Prepare loans for closing.
Process approved RLOC and interim construction draws and pay downs.
Maintain good knowledge of all bank policy/procedures/services so as to identify additional customer needs and/or respond to inquiries, making proper referrals when appropriate.
Stay abreast of changes in the banking field through self-study and both in-house and outside opportunities for continued education and training.
Requirements:
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent.
Four years of customer service experience.
Preferred:
Two years of real estate and financial services experience.
Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Current knowledge of real estate loan documentation and title company requirements; real estate regulations including but not limited to Truth in Lending, Flood Disaster, HUD, and HMDA.
Ability to read and comprehend various types of loan and related support documentation.
Ability to read, comprehend, and technically apply written policies, procedures and regulations.
Good basic math and typing skills.
Ability to use bank equipment, computer systems including PC applications using spreadsheet, word processing, and database software.
Ability to maintain objectivity and independence.
