Technicians work directly with a variety of native Texas wildlife, including mammals, birds and reptiles.
Job Location Rehabilitation Center 111 Elbow Bend, Elgin, TX 78621 Responsibilities/Duties:
Cleaning cages Feeding animals Administering medications Maintaining care plans for injured animals, Providing direction/guidance to interns and volunteers Assisting the public with animals they bring to our facility.
This is a very physical job that requires a lot of movement and lifting.
Requirements/Preferences:
A degree in wildlife management or related field is preferred.
A year of experience working with wildlife is preferred.
Rabies vaccines are required for all full-time seasonal staff positions - no exceptions.
